Short Biography
Matthieu-P. Schapranow received the BS and MS degrees in software engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute, Potsdam, Germany in 2006 and 2008, respectively. He submitted his PhD thesis in March 2012. He works as Senior In-Memory Expert and SAP NetWeaver expert at the chair of Prof. Plattner at the Hasso Plattner Institute. Currently, he is visiting scientist at the Charité — Universitätsklinik Berlin at the institute of pathology. In addition to his activities in the field of in-memory technology for enterprise applications he focuses his research activities on bio databases, DNA alignment as well as security and data protection in context of RFID technology, smart grids, and sensor data.
